Teen Therapy in Vancouver
Being a teen today is intense. The world feels heavy — constant news, social media, pressure to figure out who you are and what comes next. It’s a lot to carry.
Many of the teens I work with feel anxious, burnt out, or unsure how to keep up. School, friends, and online life can bring connection but also comparison, stress, and self-doubt. Some feel disconnected or numb, others overwhelmed by emotions that seem too big to manage.
I’ve spent years supporting youth and teens as they navigate anxiety, identity, self-confidence, family conflict, and substance use. Together, we work to understand what’s going on beneath the surface — the thoughts, feelings, and stress that can build up until it’s too much.
Therapy with me isn’t about lectures or quick fixes. It’s about building awareness, emotional tools, and real ways to feel more grounded and in control — even when life feels messy or uncertain.
For parents, I aim to create open communication and a supportive bridge between you and your teen, while respecting their growing independence and need for trust.
This is a space where young people can talk honestly, explore who they are, and learn how to take care of themselves in a world that doesn’t always make it easy.

She’s quirky, funny, and wonderfully human - the kind of person who makes you feel like it’s completely okay to just be another human, with all the messiness that comes with that. There’s something very real and authentic about her approach. In moments when I’ve felt vulnerable or uncertain, she’s helped me feel seen, steady, and strong again. It’s rare to find a counsellor who feels this genuine. I feel that she’s different in all the best ways. Nick Boulding Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm not a client of Adriann's, but I worked with her for years in the school system where she worked as a counsellor with troubled youth. I found she had extraordinary insight into young people and mental health more generally. I think every student valued her and trusted her. She worked closely with several registered clinical counselors and they valued her tremendously. In many cases, the students would chose to work with her over other choices. She is very authentic, approachable and insightful. I could not recommend her more highly. Lana Rainey Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve known Adriann since our counselling program, and she is one of the most genuinely supportive and encouraging people I’ve met. She has this incredible ability to see your strengths clearly — even when you’re doubting yourself — and she gently motivates you to step into your confidence. Her therapy space reflects exactly who she is: warm, welcoming, and full of life. Surrounded by beautiful plants, soft lighting, and cozy touches, it feels like a little sanctuary the moment you walk in. Anyone who works with her can feel how much she cares — she’s authentic, trustworthy, and truly dedicated to helping others thrive. Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 8 reviews
