Hi, I’m Adriann.

I know how draining it can be to live in a body that never really rests. The racing thoughts, the tightness in your chest, the constant push to hold it all together — it takes more out of you than anyone can see. When your body is stuck in survival mode, even getting through an ordinary day can feel like a climb.
What led me to this work is my own experience of navigating hard things and learning what it means to come home to myself again. Over time, I’ve seen that healing doesn’t happen from trying harder or thinking your way through. It begins with creating the right conditions — safety, awareness, and connection — so both your body and mind can finally find balance.
That’s what inspired me to create Soul Collective Counselling: a place for people who are tired of carrying everything alone and ready to reconnect with themselves in a real, lasting way.
I’ve worked in mental health since 2009, with a background in wilderness-based therapy and trauma-focused care. Over the years, my work has evolved into a deeply relational, somatic style of counselling — grounded in advanced training, years of experience, and a genuine respect for the courage it takes to heal.

From Nature to Therapy
Before becoming a clinical counsellor, I spent years leading wilderness therapy expeditions and outdoor leadership programs across British Columbia and New Zealand. Working in those wild, unpredictable environments taught me what real presence looks like, how to stay calm, connected, and grounded even when everything around you is shifting.
In those spaces, I saw how nature itself supports healing. When people slow down, breathe differently, and reconnect with the world around them, something in the body begins to settle. That experience continues to shape the way I work today.
My approach is grounded in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and supported by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Coherence Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and nature-informed practices.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s a way of meeting you where you are, with grounded care that helps you understand, heal, and move forward.
How I Work
Therapy with me isn’t about rushing or trying to fix everything at once. We slow things down enough to understand what’s really happening, what your body is holding, what your mind is replaying, and what your system needs to start finding balance again.
I listen closely, not just to what you say but how you say it: your breath, your posture, the pauses, and the places where things feel tense or relaxed. Together, we use that awareness to help your body and mind work together instead of against each other.
With Soul Collective, you can expect to:
• Reconnect with your body and understand how stress shows up and moves through it
• Build emotional resilience in grounded, practical ways
• Feel understood, supported, and challenged in the right moments
• Strengthen your ability to trust yourself and respond differently when life gets hard
Therapy here is about building awareness, stability, and lasting change that helps you feel more in control of your life.

Your body already knows how to heal. Together, we create the conditions for that process to begin, step by step, at your pace.
Located in Vancouver, BC, Soul Collective is a calm, inclusive space for anyone ready to feel grounded, supported, and connected again.
