First Responder

The work you do asks a lot of you — the pressure, the unpredictability, and the things you can’t easily leave behind at the end of a shift. Even when the uniform comes off, the nervous system doesn’t always follow.

Therapy here is built with an understanding of that world. I know the impact of long-term stress, trauma exposure, and the constant expectation to stay composed, no matter what’s happening around you. Over time, that can show up as irritability, burnout, numbness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the people you care about.

This is a space to slow down, talk openly, and process what’s built up without judgment or having to explain the realities of the job. Together, we work on regulating your nervous system, rebuilding a sense of control, and helping you reconnect to the parts of life that make you feel human again.
