Teens
Being a teen today is intense. The world feels heavy — constant news, social media, pressure to figure out who you are and what comes next. It’s a lot to carry.
Many of the teens I work with feel anxious, burnt out, or unsure how to keep up. School, friends, and online life can bring connection but also comparison, stress, and self-doubt. Some feel disconnected or numb, others overwhelmed by emotions that seem too big to manage.
I’ve spent years supporting youth and teens as they navigate anxiety, identity, self-confidence, family conflict, and substance use. Together, we work to understand what’s going on beneath the surface — the thoughts, feelings, and stress that can build up until it’s too much.
Therapy with me isn’t about lectures or quick fixes. It’s about building awareness, emotional tools, and real ways to feel more grounded and in control — even when life feels messy or uncertain.
For parents, I aim to create open communication and a supportive bridge between you and your teen, while respecting their growing independence and need for trust.
This is a space where young people can talk honestly, explore who they are, and learn how to take care of themselves in a world that doesn’t always make it easy.
